When I saw how well the diapers worked I decided to make myself some mama pads using the same stuff. I am thrilled to be able to offer these to you as well!
Our pads are made with a water-proof outer layer so that you don't have to worry about leaking through. The absorbent layer(s) is a new product called Zorg which is very absorbent and the inner layer (the part against your skin) is super soft suedecloth. After trying out the suedecloth I would never use anything else!! Unlike alot of cloth menstrual pads you don't feel really wet all the time...this is because of the wicking properties in the suedecloth. Also, the suedecloth is stain resistant so your pads stay looking nice. I've had several people who have tried various other cloth pads give mine a try and come back to let me know that they absolutely love them because they are much more comfortable and don't stain as easily.
The pads are nice and long (between 10.5 and 11.5 inches) and have wings that fasten around your panty with aplix.
They come in a variety of colors (see below) as well as 4 sizes...panty liners, 2 layer "mini", 3 layer "maxi" and overnight. The panty liner is made with one layer of absorbent Zorb which keeps it trim while providing protection when needed, the 2 layer ones are good for the days when you have a light to medium flow, and the 3 layer maxi ones are perfect for those with medium to heavy flows. The overnight pads are made with three layers of Zorb and have an hourglass shape to provide extra protection while sleeping.
Our Wonder Unders pads are serged together around the edges with coordinating threads and are designed in such a way that the liners, minis and maxis fold up and are held this way by the aplix strips for easy and discreet storage when you are out and about.
